Alien Abductee Running for Congress Is Endorsed by Miami Herald

A candidate for Congress in Florida claims to be an alien abductee.
We live in an era where it seems that nothing a politician says or does has a predictable effect on his or her campaign, electability, poll numbers or performance in office. And that’s not limited to Washington either. In Florida (OK, it’s kind of a muggier Washington with alligators), a candidate for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives confirmed last October that stories saying she had been abducted by aliens as a child were true, as were statements that she communicated with them telepathically throughout her life. Those admissions didn’t knock her out of the race. Instead, this week the Miami Herald announced it was endorsing her for the job – citing her experience as an office holder and a businesswoman while admitting to and then dismissing her abduction story as a “non-issue.” Should it be an issue? Sex With Extraterrestrials? A Deeper Look Into the Supposed Alien/Human Hybrid Program

Alien/human hybrids are a staple of UFO abduction encounters. Arjun Walia takes a deeper look at what might be going on.
Prior to the recent official disclosure of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) in the mainstream (via the recent Pentagon footage and the release of millions of pages of UFO related documents from dozens of governments), UFOs were listed in the conspiracy category. This was the case despite all of the evidence that was leaked over the decades, from very credible sources. Apart from the evidence listed above, we also have witness testimony from hundreds of military and intelligence personnel from around the world. Loch Ness Monster Mystery Solved?

Ever so often a scientist pops up to offer a "scientific" explanation for a paranormal phenomenon - that doesn't actually address the phenomenon. This seems to be one of those since Loch Ness Monster sightings are not just of "bubbles" but of a large creature.
Legendary beast, or harmless geological activity? That is the question raised after a scientist's surprising theory about the Loch Ness Monster resurfaced recently.

Italian geologist Luigi Piccardi first floated his theory in 2001, telling a meeting of colleagues organized by the Geological Society of London and the Geological Society of America that seismic activity may underlie the majority of supposed monster sightings around the Scottish lake from which the fabled creature takes its name. Cat People, Strippers, and Telekinesis: Tales from Alien Abductees

New York photographer Steven Hirsch tried to put a human face to alien abductees by meeting, interviewing, and photographing people who claim close contact with extraterrestrials.
Alien abductions make for a good sci-fi plot devices, but it's easy to forget that we walk among people -- in the real world -- who claim to have been visited, beamed up and probed by little gray men.

New York photographer Steven Hirsch, 63, has met many of these people face to face. He visited this year's International UFO Conference to meet, photograph and interview people who avow close contact with extraterrestrials. Read more
