We decided to follow up on our earlier article on UFO's, which focused on a new book written by an investigative journalist - "UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record" (Harmony Books / The Crown Publishing Group) by journalist Leslie Kean. The revelations in the book are actually quite astonishing. So we scoured the Internet for eye witness videos of purported UFO sitings. Now, are they real? The reality is that just about any kid with a copy of Adobe AfterEffects will be able to fake a UFO video. Chupacabrat Caught on Video

An animal was trapped by hospital workers and then released. It may not be a chupacabra, but it's certainly a strange-looking animal.

Chain-smoking employees at Prince George's Hospital Center captured a hideous, hairless creature — a chupacabra, some say — in the woods where the exiled smokers congregate. And then, unbelievably, they let the rare specimen go, depriving it of years of torture at the hands of scientists.

They had spotted the animal — which has drawn comparisons to a deer, dog, rat, kangaroo, and fox — several times near the Cheverly hospital, and last Thursday decided to lure it into a cage with chicken and leftover Chinese food. They named it Prince Chupa, after the legendary chupacabra — Spanish for "goat sucker" — which probably doesn't exist, but would make the world a more exciting place if it did. Read more

Their website, displaying cryptic symbols and end-of-time warnings, includes a countdown clock towards the Vatican impending doomsday.

A dead, white mammal with five claws, dark tufts of hair on its back, and long toenails has people talking in Minnesota.

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources officials have been unable to identify a mystery carcass found in Douglas County with certainty, prompting further investigation.

The dead white mammal was spotted this week on a Douglas County road with five claws, dark tufts of hair on its back and head and long toenails.

Roadkill is nothing new for Minnesotans, but this curious creature got people talking. Read more

"Freaked Out" BBC Reporter Sees Huge Disc

"Freaked out" BBC reporter Mike Sewell told millions of radio listeners of the moment he faced a UFO on his way to work. My prediction is that either Sewell will retract his story or the BBC will fire him.

It's a radio station known for irreverent chat, where current affairs and topical discussion reign supreme.

But Radio 5 Live took on a more otherworldly tone this morning when one of its own sports reporters claimed he had a close brush with a UFO.

The discovery of a strange circular formation in the Baltic Sea between Finland and Sweden has caused speculation that it might be a crashed UFO.

For now, it's an unidentified submerged object. But a strange circular formation deep below the Baltic Sea has sparked great excitement among UFO believers who think it might be a crashed flying saucer.

While searching for shipwrecks in the waters between Finland and Sweden on June 19, a Swedish team of nautical salvagers say they uncovered a "very strange anomaly" -- a round object about 60 feet across resting about 300 feet below sea level. Read more

Can Psychics Be Good for Your Health?

A phenomenon known as remote viewing, which claims to use psychic powers to "see" what is invisible to the naked eye, may have an intriguing role to play in health care.

Three months ago, Twitter hosted its first scientific experiment and invited users to help demonstrate the existence of psychic powers. Professor Richard Wiseman, of the University of Hertfordshire, recruited 7,000 volunteers via the social messaging service to investigate "remote viewing" (RV). A remote viewer is a gifted individual who claims to be able to "see" events in the past, present and future, and identifying distant locations.

The psychology professor, famed for his mass-participation experiments, which explore the curious science of everyday life, travelled to a mystery site in the UK, whereupon he sent a Tweet. Participants were asked to pinpoint his location by selecting it from a line-up of five photographs. As only 15 per cent of people correctly predicted Prof Wiseman's location – despite a 20 per cent probability – he pronounced RV to be a hoax.

Historically, however, governments have not been not so quick to condemn. During the Cold War, the American military spent $20 million (£12.2 million) on an RV project, conducting "psychic spying" missions against the Soviet Union for two decades. In 2001, the Ministry of Defence also investigated the potential of remote viewing, but the outcome is unknown. Read more
