Thousands of humans go missing everyday. Unfortunately, the explanation is usually crime–kidnappings, abductions or murder. In other instances, a person can runaway to escape something, or forge a new identity.
A missing persons case that can’t be explained is considered a cold case. Of these cold cases, the vast majority have rational explanations, but investigators simply do not have the physical evidence they need to put the puzzle together. Still, there are a small percentage of cases that seem to defy logic altogether. Read more

Mysterious disappearances are endlessly fascinating. This list could have been extended to ten if they had added Ambrose Bierce and Judge Crater.

This could explain at least some paranormal phenomena.
Quantum mechanics, though firmly tested, is so weird and anti-intuitive that famed physicist Richard Feynman once remarked, "I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics." Attempts to explain some of the bizarre consequences of quantum theory have led to some mind-bending ideas, such as the Copenhagen interpretation and the many-worlds interpretation.
Now there's a new theory on the block, called the "many interacting worlds" hypothesis (MIW), and the idea is just as profound as it sounds. The theory suggests not only that parallel worlds exist, but that they interact with our world on the quantum level and are thus detectable. Though still speculative, the theory may help to finally explain some of the bizarre consequences inherent in quantum mechanics, reports RT.com. Read more

It could be canned laughter, or the GMA panel could just be that stupid.
As you can read in the description of this blog above... I look at how the MSM handles the very few `UFO' cases that they choose to look at nowadays - 3 years after/passed the official UFO Disclosure statement by the Obama Administration. So, I found this gem from 2014... a true rarity.... of someone in Harrisburg Pennsylvania who caught an unknown object on their phone camera. Read more

Lon Strickler reports that a UFO witness thinks he may have also had a Men in Black encounter. If he did, they seem to have updated their wardrobe.
I received the following report on Sunday evening. I needed to edit the original for various reasons:
Hello Sir. I was directed to you by a forum contributor who reads your website. I work as a night security officer at a warehouse in Plainfield, Indiana. The building is located about a mile west of the Indianapolis International Airport on Reeves Rd. At the time of the incident I was working with another security officer. Read more

It's amusing that some people cling to the belief that paranormal skepticism proves how intelligent and scientific they are when all it proves is that they are ignorant and close-minded. Science and belief in the paranormal are not mutually exclusive as these eight famous scientists demonstrate.
There is a long history of scientific inquiry into the paranormal. Most scientists won't openly profess to a belief in the paranormal or supernatural for fear of professional ridicule. But that's not always the case.
Philosopher and psychologist William James was one of the first psychical researchers who worked on a variety of paranormal and mesmerist cases. Respected in his field, and still studied today, James remained deeply skeptical with regards to psychic powers and paranormal realities. Like Thomas Edison and Freeman Dyson, James can't really be said to have been a paranormal believer, but all three of these men did devote considerable energy and resources into researching it....others followed up on their work and came to widely varied and controversial conclusions. Although the tone is snarky, and the writer is wrong about Aleister Crowley being the originator of sex magic, this is a good sampling of YouTube videos about the topic.
You end up going down some pretty interesting YouTube wormholes writing for Nerve. I began to research sex magic, which is a term that has come to mean a broad range of intimate New Age techniques meant to harness the energy lost in sexual intercourse into positive real world results. It goes something like this: If you breathe correctly and climax at the same time as your partner while both thinking the same things, then your dreams will come true and you will have the greatest mind blowing sex off all time. Sure there’s ton’s of people on the internet ready to make you the next 8 hour Sting-like sex god, but there’s more to Sex Magic than cumming in downward dog while you and your girlfriend envision a yacht.
