A Spell to Protect Your Love from Another

Many people turn to magic in order to get something - usually money, love, or power. However, once you have obtained your desire, in order to keep it, you must protect it. If you have love, there are jealous people who want to take what you have. This spell is used to protect your lover from being stolen by another. It protects your relationship from rivals who want to seduce your lover.

Items Needed:

• 1 pink candle to represent yourself
• 1 pink candle to represent your love
• 1 black candle to represent the other person
• 1 red candle
• Sewing needles
• Dragon's Blood or other protection incense
• Love oil
• Banishing oil

Inscribe your name on the candle that represents you. Inscribe the candle that represents your lover with his or her name. If the other person's name is known, inscribe the third candle with his or her name. If the name is not known, you can inscribe "All Others.".

Dress your candle and your lover's candle with any type of love oil. Dress the other person's candle with any type of banishing oil. On the candle representing the other person, stick sewing needles into the candle where the letters are closed. For example, if there is a letter o, place a needle through the o.

Light this candle while focusing on all of the bad feelings that this person has caused you. Set this candle in the upper right hand corner of your altar.

Rid yourself of the negative feelings you charged the other person's candle with, and light the Dragons Blood incense. Visualize what you want to accomplish with this spell.Then, light the candle that represents you and say:  

This candle is (name). Her/His love for (name) burns eternal as does this flame.   

Light your lover's candle from your candle and say:  

This candle is (name). Her/His love for (name) burns eternal as does this flame.

 Light the red candle from your lover's candle and say:  

This candle represents (your name and her/his name)'s love for each other.  
No one shall make the other's eye wander.  
This candle binds together (name and name) eternally in love.  
Their love for each other burns as does this flame.

The pink candles and the red candle should be placed in a triangle formation in the middle of your altar. The red candle should be at the apex of the triangle.

Let all candles burn down while focusing on how much you and your lover love each other. Throw the leftover wax and needles from the other person's candle into the garbage. Put your leftover wax and your lover’s leftover wax into a glass jar, seal it, and bury it, preferably on your own property.

You will need to perform this spell again if a new rival appears. This spell cannot be used to steal another's lover. It will work to protect your love from another person outside the relationship.
