One of the recurring tropes of science fiction is the discovery of hidden underground human societies or untouched ecosystems full of bizarre, otherworldly creatures. Now that we have explored nearly every corner of the Earth and have satellites peering down on us from above, deep underground environments represent some of the last frontiers on Earth. While a few recent developments have come close to making the discovery of these hidden mysteries a reality, the technological requirements of getting humans deep into the Earth keep much subterranean exploration just out of our reach. However, a recent study published in the geology journal Lithos has revealed that the Earth might in fact be home to massive underground oceans likely containing unknown forms of life. Read more

Humanity's Dark Fascination with the Hollow Earth
Mcah Hanks examines humanity's dark fascination with the Hollow Earth legend.
Few of the great fears held by humankind in our path to modernity would rival that of our long dread for the darkness. Fortunately, with the daily cycle of the Earth’s rotation, we are only bathed in that blackness for a few hours at a time. Hence, over the long course of its evolution, humanity has worked mostly by the waking hours, having learned to hide ourselves away as the light recedes, and take our rest during the hours where dangers of the dark become most prevalent. Cave Creatures: Reptilian Humanoids from the Hollow Earth?
Stories persist of reptilian humanoids from a Hollow Earth.
Continuing our celebration of the month of “Crocktober,” there are a multitude of new creepy films and other entertainment out there, designed to chill the bones and raise the hairs of the faint-hearted (in a fun way). For many, the terrors that can achieve this sort of thing remain in the realm of sewn-together man-things like Frankenstein; or maybe your favorite ghouls are the blood-sucking boogers, most of which are far-less cordial and romantic than Edward and his Twilight ilk.
While I enjoy all of these creepy critters too, my personal favorite remedy for the Crocktober Creeps involves the subject of creatures from the depths of the underground realm. Books and films like The Descent take the notion of mankind’s greatest fears into the recesses of a hypothetical underworld which, in truth, provides a unique allegory for the eternal struggle between mankind and the influences of darkness… perhaps no place gets any darker than the Hollow Earth.
Taking a more Fortean angle to all this, for most of us the serious treatment of any idea that there might be humanoid monstrosities lurking within cavernous corridors beneath the Earth’s surface is little more than lunacy. In many regards, I have to agree that, while I enjoy the films and other fictional portrayals that delve into the depths of this subject, we cannot take very literally the idea that subterranean non-humans exist. And yet, from time to time, there are indeed reports that “surface” (pun intended) which seek to illustrate that this very sort of thing actually is more than mere fiction. Read more

Did a German Sub Make to Our Hollow Earth?
A letter from Karl Unger, a German crewman from the U-209 submarine, claims that the vessel made it to the hollow earth soon after World War II, says Rodney M. Cliff.
I first learned about German U Boats attempting to reach our hollow earth from a German living in Canada. The book I ordered was from Samisdat Publishers, Ltd, owned and operated by Ernst Zundel. He wrote a book about Hitler sending an expedition to Antarctica. I ordered his book. It was titled, Secret Nazi Polar Expeditions, published in 1978. It related how the Germans had taken a ship with a small airplane on it that they launched from their ship after reaching the ice near Antarctica. It flew over the ice to Antarctica and then back to the ship. But the book didn't say anything about the hollow earth.
Then in 2006 I received an email from Dianne Robbins, author of several books she has channeled from a person she says is Mikos that lives in the hollow earth.
The person Dianne emailed me about was Joe Watson of Talkeetna, Alaska, who had just contacted her saying that he had a copy of a letter written in the German language from a German submarine crewman named Karl Unger, that made it to our hollow earth soon after World War II. The submarine name was U-209 with Captain Heinrich Brodda.
Joe's original email to Diane was, Read more

Secrets of the Hollow Earth
The interior of the Earth, some believe, is home to strange races of technologically advanced beings. Who are they and where are the hidden entrances to their subterranean cities?
Many readers of the paranormal and the unexplained are familiar with the theory that the Earth is hollow. The idea is based on the ancient legends of many cultures that say there are races of people - entire civilizations - that thrive in subterranean cities. Very often, these dwellers of the world beneath are more technologically advanced than we on the surface. Some even believe that UFOs are not from other planets, but are manufactured by strange beings in the interior of the Earth.Vision Report Watch - A shocking biweekly watchdog online magazine for the minority of us interested in the non-mainstream: UFOs, conspiracies, eugenics, Bible prophecy, Nostradamus, 2012, Nephilim, and chemtrails. Who are these strange races of beings? How did they come to live inside the Earth? And where are the entrances to their underground cities? Read more
