How to Create a Familiar Spirit

Creating a familiar spirit is a more advanced technique for creating a spirit servant than I wrote about in my post Creat a Spirit Servant with Your Own Psychic Energy. A familiar spirit is more sentient and long-lasting that a psi-ball spirit servant and should be able to handle more complex tasks. However, creating a familiar spirit is not that much more complicated than creating a psi-ball spirit servant.

The first step is to decide on a name for the familiar spirit. You can use any name you like, but a name based on the familiar spirit's purpose seems to work best. Some examples of this type of name might be Moneybringer, Guardian, or Healall.

Create a Spirit Servant with Your Own Psychic Energy

Most people have heard of the witch's "familiar." It's commonly thought to be an animal, such as a cat or raven. Actually, the familiar was a spirit servant, which may or may not have lived in the body of an animal belonging to the witch. You can create your own spirit servant by creating a psi-ball with the psychic energy--sometimes called chi, prana, or mana--which we all have. You can use this psi-ball for healing, telepathy, clairvoyance, or psychic attacks.
